Al-Qaida No. 2 calls Public Health Care ‘fraud’
CAIRO – Al-Qaida’s deputy leader on Monday seized upon President Barack Obama’s failure to bring about health care reform and called him a “fraud” in a new audio message.
Ayman al-Zawahri’s 28-minute audio message was mainly a jab at the looming death panels, but he also took the opportunity to slam the public option, which he criticized for keeping healthcare and prescription costs up.
The recording comes after a series of al-Qaida videos this past month, including several attacking Acorn and threatening strikes against the ultra liberal “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”. Those releases raised concerns among lower SES minorities and Jews with fake news shows featured on basic cable.
Al-Zawahri reserved special scorn for Obama, whom he has insulted in nearly every one of his messages since the latter’s historic election as U.S. president.
Many experts believe that Al-Qaida is struggling in the face of Obama’s popularity in the Muslim world, despite the fact that he is black.
“Here is Obama, the fraud, who pretended to quit smoking and be all health conscious then goes and smoke cigarettes right in front of the entire Muslim world. This has nothing to do with him being black or having a dictators middle name … I just don’t like his policies,” al-Zawahri said.
Obama attempted to quit smoking during his 2008 campaign, but has publicly acknowledged that he has lit up during moments of weakness.
“Is the reality of the criminal Obama now clear to us? Or do we need to wait for the government sanctioned death panels to be sure of his criminal nature. If Obama had his way Osama bin Laden never would have received his most necessary dialysis machine. PRAISE ALLAH and his liver saving glory! ” he said.
Al-Zawahri’s reference to events taking place just a week earlier indicate the urgency with which the message was recorded and posted as al-Qaida hastens to point out any of Obama’s shortcomings in the region.
Healthcare has become a frequent target of Al-Qaida criticisms in the wake of the 2008 elections.
“International peace and security will not be realized unless health care remains the burden of the employer, Al-Qaida gives me much benefits and very cheap prescriptions. Why would Obama and his devil minions want to take that away from me? How am I to continue jihad without affordable healthcare?” he said, apparently addressing the entire NATO alliance.
About half of the recording was dedicated to the Pakistani Taliban chief Mehsud who died after failing to make it on a liver donor list.
Al-Zawahri’s eulogy was the terror group’s first acknowledgment of the death of one of al-Qaida’s main partners in Pakistan’s tribal area where top leaders of the terror movement are believed to be importing cheap drugs from socialized Canada.
“To the Americans, their allies and their slaves on Wall Street and in Washington, I say you may have killed (Mehsud) …but you did not kill Islam or private healthcare,” al-Zawahri said.
